About Me:
Dr. Tim Watson is the CEO and Medical Director of Mission Pediatrics, Inc. where he has been practicing since 2003. He is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is an amateur magician and brings a fun and whimsical experience to his patients. He grew up in Northern California and worked as a handyman and landscaper throughout high school and college. He graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular Biology. Prior to starting medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, he was a high school Anatomy & Physiology, Biology and Trigonometry teacher at Valley Christian High School and previously was a substitute K-12 teacher at 25 different public schools. He completed medical school and entered postdoctoral training in the field of Pediatrics in 2000. He was the 2015 President of the Riverside County Medical Association where he has actively participated since 2008 representing the 2500 doctors in the Riverside County area. He is the engine that drives the delightfully different experience that makes Mission Pediatrics so unique. By the way, our silliness team will sometimes insert something irrelevant into this bio just to keep you guessing…did you know that a group of owls is called a “Parliament”? Back to Dr. Watson, he continually strives to enhance the pediatric experience with multiple comedy film productions that gently teach while entertaining. He is married with two sons and a daughter. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, fishing, hiking and tinkering with old cars, but his favorite pastime is animatronics and special effects. Wow! You’re still reading this, hats off to you! Dr. Watson is the creative mind behind our national parks and Victorian office themes and the holiday light shows at our Redlands office. He rotates through our Riverside, Perris and Redlands locations and is accepting new patients.
