About Me:
Erin is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Mission Pediatrics, Inc. She grew up on both the East and West Coasts of the USA. Erin obtained her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and Physician Associate Certification from Stanford University in 2010. Having received her pediatric training at Mission Pediatrics, we saw early on her exceptional pediatric skills. Erin has a passion for art, soccer, firefighting and all things medicine. Her background uniquely enables her to bridge the gap across multiple medical and paramedical fields and gives her an outstanding perspective with regards to pediatric care. By the way, our silliness team will sometimes insert something irrelevant into this bio just to keep you guessing…did you know a snail can sleep for three years. She has worked in medical research, teaching, EMS and nursing. Erin spent 10 years with Cal Fire as a Fire Captain Paramedic before changing careers. She enjoyed all aspects of her career as a firefighter but found that clinical practice at Mission Pediatrics allowed her to invest more quality time with her children. She is full of creative energy and actively supports her community. She works hard to ensure that patients and our team experience a delightfully different safety experience. She is married with 3 children and lives on a small ranch with a menagerie of fun and interesting animals. We are happy to have Erin as one of our PA’s and also as our safety guru!
